Important 4WD Info
Wheels: replaced the mags fitted from Japan with steel wheels as they were under rated for axle load. Dynamic 15x7 6x139.7 10P CB111 Black Steel Rim 15 x 7 PCD 6/139.7 Offset +10. 6 stud fitment Maximum load 1150kg. Tires: 5 x GT Radial Adventuro ATII LT235/75R15 116/113S Spare is the same. It just fitted under the cover (sits out a bit further, but ok) with some trimming on the rear bumper and adjusting of the cover lock nuts.
Brake Booster: reconditioned as unable to locate a matching one.
Master Cylinder: replaced (for me with trade contacts, it was about the same price)
Rear Brake Drum 254mm diameter
Disc Brake Rotor 257mm diameter
Disk pads: Now using semi metallic front disc pads
Rear shock: I have fitted Monroe 331048MM shocks, replacing a Repco house branded item.
Vacuum system The rubber tubing will perish with age. I checked and replaced all the failing ones, which made all sorts of things work properly again.
Rear Heater: The control valve in the engine bay can seize up. I removed it and gave it a good clean, and manually moved the lever until it freed up. No further issues yet.
